This project focused on exploring form, material, and storytelling through the creation of a personalized monogram. Using unconventional writing utensils and nontraditional surfaces, the goal was to break away from standard mark-making methods and embrace experimentation. The resulting letterforms were shaped by the physical qualities of the tools and materials, creating unique textures and visual inconsistencies that contributed to the overall character of the monogram.

After developing the monogram, it was applied to a poster design that communicates a narrative connected to its form and creation. Emphasis was placed on composition, hierarchy, and visual storytelling, using type and imagery to reinforce the concept. The final poster demonstrates a cohesive relationship between process and outcome, highlighting both creative exploration and thoughtful design execution.
